Derry
Derry City has been a feature of Irish history since before the time of Colmcille and it is the only city in Ireland with its walls intact. The controversy continues to the present day, as testified by the political murals which are a common first call for tourists to the city. But there are many other sights and buildings well worth a visit and, in the county, there are many historical and important sites that the tourist would do well to visit.
